The right mortgage allows you to build equity and, ultimately, to build wealth. A home mortgage is a financial investment in your future. You want a loan that satisfies both short and long-term financial goals by allowing you to buy a home today and accumulate wealth over time.
At Spectra Mortgage our main objective is to provide you with sound choices and solid options. We approach every loan for a home purchase, refinance, or reverse mortgage with the same care and honesty we would wish for ourselves in any financial transaction.
We believe our clients deserve:
Experience. Our in-depth knowledge and understanding of the mortgage industry is key to providing you with options. Through comprehensive planning and consulting, we help you make sound financial decisions.
Transparency. We take the mystery out of the mortgage application and approval process. Through clear and transparent communication, you’ll always know the status of your application.
Technology. We’re available for a video conference or phone call at your convenience. You can also reach us via email or text. Your mortgage application and disclosure documents can be signed electronically 24/7 through our secure encrypted portal.
Dedication. We’re with you at every step throughout the process. From our initial conversation through your closing, you’ll know who’s in charge of your home loan and how to reach us. No question will go unanswered.
Wayne Tucker is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 25 years of experience in providing tax and financial advice to clients. In 2005, after a very successful career as a partner in a large international accounting firm, Wayne was looking for a new challenge and was intrigued with the mortgage industry.
At the time, many of the people involved in the mortgage industry were not financial professionals and were essentially sales people. Wayne believed that his financial background would allow him to be an “adviser” rather than just a salesperson trying to “sell” a loan.
Since 2005, Spectra Mortgage has relied upon referrals as the core of our business. Wayne’s goal is to meet with every (yes, every) client and spend as much time as needed to answer questions, provide alternatives, help improve credit, and ensure that each of his clients has access to competitive rates and mortgage products. Wayne takes particular pride in the fact he has helped many people, who did not originally qualify for a loan when they first contacted him, realize their dream of homeownership.
Raised in Denver, Wayne graduated from Metropolitan State University with a BA in Accounting with an emphasis in Taxation. Wayne was a corporate tax advisor specializing in Real Estate, Construction, and the Financial Services Industries. In addition, Wayne was an expert in partnership taxation. Over the years, he has been involved with United Way and has been active with Denver Children’s Home, among other community and charitable causes.
In addition to being an actively licensed CPA, Wayne is also licensed by the state of Colorado as a Mortgage Loan Originator. His professional experience, financial expertise, and integrity set him apart from the online and big-bank loan officers who often don’t have any type of financial degree or background to provide sound financial advice.
Wayne believes the mortgage process should be simple, with solutions and real results.
Kim Renquest is a top Loan Advisor and has been with Spectra Mortgage since 2012. Known for her outstanding communication skills, she is an expert in guiding you through the entire loan process. Kim’s background is in financial management and consulting, and now has an emphasis on Divorce Mortgage Guidance. It is her goal to fiercely protect each of her clients and advise them to make wise financial decisions that are 100% in their best interest. She has a comprehensive knowledge of consumer and mortgage lending products and is truly driven by helping her clients.
Kim is licensed by the state of Colorado as a Mortgage Loan Originator and has the Real Estate Collaboration Specialist-Divorce designation and training to offer Divorce Mortgage Guidance. Her professional experience, financial proficiency, and caring attitude set her apart from the online and big-bank loan officers who are not trained to provide sound financial advice nor to tend to their client’s needs. Upon entering the mortgage industry, Kim was a loan processor, which taught her the specifics of how to get loans approved, how lenders and underwriters review files. She appreciates how each loan requires detailed attention and are all unique and different in their own way.
Currently, and in the past, Kim has been involved with the Denver Senior Coalition and World Vision International among other community and charitable causes.
Kim is married to her husband, Dave, since 1991 and they have one son. Denver has been home, after growing up here and attending Denver Lutheran HS before moving to California and graduating from Orange County Lutheran HS. She stayed in California to attend Fresno State University, but was unable to stay away from Denver, and moved back after getting married. When not working, Kim can be found traveling around the country refereeing indoor and sand volleyball, running half marathons, and spending time with her family.
When you are ready to find a loan to fit your personal and financial needs, a caring attitude and specific advice just for your situation, and a Trusted Advisor for Life, Kim is the loan advisor for you!
