As a small mortgage company, we excel at providing one on one, personalized service to each of our clients. We spend quality time discussing our clients’ circumstances since a cookie cutter approach rarely works. It’s important to us to help our clients make sound financial decisions that work both now and in the future.
Wayne Tucker Jr., CPA
firstname.lastname@example.org | 303-468-1985 ext 101
Wayne Tucker is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 25 years of experience in providing tax and financial advice to clients. In 2005, after a very successful career as a partner in a large international accounting firm, Wayne was looking for a new challenge and was intrigued with the mortgage industry. At the time, many of the people involved in the mortgage industry were not financial professionals and were essentially sales people. Wayne believed that his financial background would allow him to be an “adviser” rather than just a salesperson trying to “sell” a loan.
Since 2005, Spectra Mortgage has relied upon referrals as the core of our business. Wayne’s goal is to meet with every (yes, every) client and spend as much time as needed to answer questions, provide alternatives, help improve credit, and ensure that each of his clients has access to competitive rates and mortgage products. Wayne takes particular pride in the fact he has helped many people, who did not originally qualify for a loan when they first contacted him, realize their dream of homeownership.
Raised in Denver, Wayne graduated from Metropolitan State University with a BA in Accounting with an emphasis in Taxation. Wayne was a corporate tax advisor specializing in Real Estate, Construction, and the Financial Services Industries. In addition, Wayne was an expert in partnership taxation. Over the years, he has been involved with United Way and has been active with Denver Children’s Home, among other community and charitable causes.
In addition to being an actively licensed CPA, Wayne is also licensed by the state of Colorado as a Mortgage Loan Originator. His professional experience, financial expertise, and integrity set him apart from the online and big-bank loan officers who often don’t have any type of financial degree or background to provide sound financial advice.
Wayne believes the mortgage process should be simple, with solutions and real results.
“Wayne was most helpful in explaining the entire loan process.” – S. Grebe

Audrey Todd | Assistant Processing
email@example.com | 303-468-1985
Audrey is relatively new to the mortgage industry, coming off a 37-year career in elementary education. Looking for a new challenge, she was recruited in 2015 by her former third-grade student (Kim) and now works as her assistant processor. Working closely with two well-respected and experienced professionals in the mortgage industry has provided a welcome change of pace from teaching, yet many of the skills from that career, such as organization and attention to detail, have lent themselves well to the new industry.
Born in Minnesota and raised in Iowa, Audrey graduated from Concordia University in Nebraska with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She went on to teach one year in Oklahoma and then pursued her dream of moving to Colorado, where she landed a teaching job that lasted for the next 36 years. As a life-long learner, she continued her education and earned a Master’s Degree from Colorado Christian University. Audrey met her husband, Jim, in Denver and they have two grown daughters and two young grandchildren (so far). When not working, the flexibility in the new career has allowed her to spend more time with her grandchildren and pursue her love of travel, both to new places, as well as old favorites.
Even though there is more to learn every day, she is excited to be part of such a special team at Spectra Mortgage, working together to bring you the best experience possible for all your mortgage needs.
“Got it done in one day after title! Good Job!– A. Slaby
