The economic news that was released this week was largely in line with expectations and it was a quiet week for mortgage interest rates as they ended the week slightly lower than last week.
Next week the following events will occur and economic data will be released:
- The Federal Reserve will meet on Wednesday and investors expect an increase in interest rates and will be seeking guidance on the pace of future rate increases;
- Existing Home Sales will be released on Wednesday; and
- New Home Sales and the Durable Orders report will come out on Friday.
