While there was a fair amount of economic news released this week, mortgage interest rates were quiet this week and end the week largely unchanged from last week.  The minutes from the FED meeting were in line with expectations although as we move into December the expectation is that we could see the Federal Reserve raise interest rates one more time this year.  This would obviously impact mortgage interest rates.

Next week the following event will occur and economic news will be released that may impact mortgage interest rates:

  1. The Consumer Price Index will be released on Wednesday;
  2. The Retail Sales report will come out on Thursday; and
  3. The mortgage markets will be closed on Monday in observance of Veterans Day.
